    Hello,

Well i have a weird problem with playback of some video files, mainly streaming video using windows media player.

The problem is that when i stream some video from the net for example yahoo! launch video site it plays perfectly with CPU usage up to 40%, then when i try to play another video the video stutters and CPU stays at 100%. i then have to restart the PC to watch other video.

It thought it was a video codec problem, originally i use Nero's codecs to play files, i therefore tried ffdshow and that did not work, then tried 3vix. none worked.

I think it could be my graphics card but i do have the latest drivers.

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600
Media File playback problems: streamed video(wmv i thnk)
    Codec pack installed: Nero

AHA!! I bet if you open your task manager after your 2nd attempt you will see windows media player running at 99-100%
You can unlock or stop the app right there. I don't know why it will lock itself like that. It's happened to me on accassion. Windows media player really sucks IMHO
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
