Hello. Lately when i encode my videos to DiVX 6.2.2 once there would be perfectly crystal clear audio, but there would be no video overlay. The Video image would beiether a green screen or a black screen. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm using DivX 6.2.2 Oh and im using the latest version of VirtualDub to do the conversion process.

300fps isn't looking so hot now, is it.

What settings are you using ?

Have you tried starting with one of the default profiles, just as a test ?

No 300fps isnt looking so hot now. but i may still reach that with actual video. No i have not try one of the default profiles. And as for the settings, its, low bitrate, progressive, and or de-interlaced video, multi-pass 1st pass. Those were the settings i had set.

I found out what is causing my files to have the black/green screen. Aparently its the setting of Multi-Fast 1st pass or Nth pass for DivX and for XVID is two-pass. But I know i shouldnt be getting black and or green screens with these changes in settings. Can anybody please please help me figure out a hack or something to correct the issue?
