TMPGEnc DVD Author? GUI for DVDAuthor? DVDAuthorGUI?
Is your captured mpg DVD compliant? If not, you'll have to reencode.

If you are new to this hobby, you might try ConvertXToDVD. It also has an older freeware version available. It should be able to re-encode if needed and format the file for DVD burning.
For information on the DVD format, look to the upper left for 'What is' DVD. That will tell you if your file is compliant with the DVD standard. You can check the format of your file with Gspot (2.52) and compare.
If they are DVD compatible, the programs mats.hogberg mentioned should work well. For the rest, we have guides for most available software and conversions.
And welcome to our forums. -
