I have had problems playing some VCD's on this player while others play fine, ive been told that to fix this i need to disable Play Back Control (PBC) the manual hints that this is possible but does not explain how to do it. Nor can I find any info on the web.
I can get round the non playing discs by re-encoding the DAT file and burning it to CDRW but this takes time.
(im using TMPGEnc to re-encode and nero to burn the VCD - just in case that helps anybody)
several websites have said that this player is a silver 343 so if someone has a PBC disable for that one it should work on my 340
Thanks
