I have an MKV with one movie, two audio streams, and a sub file. Nothing seems to be in sync with each other. The audio is playing ahead of the video at least.
The mkv is 29.97 fps. The audio is in aac format at 44.1 sample rate. I used mkvextratgui to get the files out. then I used divxtodvd to convert the video to dvd format. Then I used winamp to convert the aac to wav, and besweet to convert from wav to ac3 (this is where i changed the sample rate). I used subtitle workshop to convert the subs to 29.97 (which may not have been necessary).
What steps should I take to convert the aac cleanly from 44100 aac to 48000 ac3?
