  1. Trying to backup "Aeonflux" using "AnyDVD" and "Shrink". "AnyDVD" completes fine without errors and "Shrink" completes but I get an error when "Nero" goes to burn. Help. Thanks.

I used anyDVD 5.9.5.8, DvdShrink 3.2.0.15 in movie-only mode, and burned with Nero 6.3.1.6 on Win XP x64 with no errors.

I ripped it with plain ol' DVD Decrypter, shrank it with DVD Shrink to an ISO then burned it back with DVD Decrypter.

  5. It is possible that there is unreferenced material in the files which causes Nero to cough when trying to burn. I would suggest using vobblanker to get rid of the unreferenced material then burn using Nero.

  6. Nero 6.6.1.4 wouldn't burn it. DVD Decrypter would. Thanks.

Sounds like a software issue and not a movie issue.

I used DVD Fab Decrypter and Nero 7 to burn. No shrinkage involved or would I want to.

AnyDVD and shrink are both ripping tools. They will crash. Just use an updated AnyDVD w/DVD program (Clone DVD), or use updated DVDFab Decryptor and then shrink it as stated earlier.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought you meant the old new version.

I main-movied this one with easyDVDclone and had no problems. My magnavox player wouldn't play it properly (a lot of skipping towards the last twenty minutes) but worked great in the computer and on my RCA player.

I didn't bother with the bonus features.

The skipping is most likely a media issue. Either you are using cheap media or you are using a brand/type that the player doesn't like.
