    Hi,

    few weeks ago I started editting a video, I would like to ask you for some help, I've seen lots of videos with logos or subtitles been remove, and I would like to know if this numbers and bars that appear in the image I have uploaded can be remove too, if it's possible to remove it, can anybody tell me what software would I need to do it.

    You have a few options and they all involve reencoding the video.

    However its best to just live with it because no solution is perfect.

    First you can use delogo in virutaldub to try to remove the text. BUT it leaves a watery afterimage behind. It can be decent but if its high motion in the background it will be obscured by the removal process.

    The next option would be to actually cover that video with a black bar. You'd lose that whole part of the video but it would be completely covered without any bleeding effect. You could use the clip frame feature in tmpegnc or resize the video in virtualdub.

    But in all honesty with the extra work involved its much easier to just live with the text on the video.
