    Hi everyone:

I have been using a code to embed Windows Media Player in my web page. For display, I chose the value "0" so that only the player's toolbar (the one with play, pause, stop, forward, rewind buttons) will appear when my web page is accessed.

This works fine with Internet Explorer as every time I access my page, only the toolbar is shown. However, this does not work with Mozilla Firefox. When I access the page, the display is shown on top of the toolbar (please see attached picture).

Would someone please tell me what I have to include in my code to make the black screen not to appear in Mozilla Firefox?

    Thanks.

I do not know how to fix this problem, but Firefox 1.0 is not supported anymore. I think you shoul be doing testing with firefox 1.5.

If after testing with Firefox 1.5 you are still facing problems, go to Firefox home page, join one of the forums and ask the question there.

The embed code for IE do NOT work for Firefox, period, without the plug-in. Even with the plug-in, it works only some of the times.

Get the latest FF, 1.5.03 seems to help somewhat.

    Thanks for your help.

It's strange that one code written for Front Pgae (therefore, for IE) does not work for IE but it WORKS for FireFox. It's the code for making the letters blink. I created my page in Front Page and specifically selected "Blink" for certain words in it. The words blink like mad in FireFox but do not blink in Front Page.

    Cheers
