  1. ARG!!! Someone please help!! I wanted to add subtitles to my movie so I did so with VirtualDub's VobSub filter... then when I tried to frameserve it to TMPGEnc, there's no problem with that part... but when I try to open the .vdr file with TMPGEnc, it says that it can't be opened or it's not supported!! I have the VFAPI plugin for TMPGEnc and I've run the bat that comes with it but it still doesn't open the .vdr file!! Does anyone know what's going on?

  4. Ok, first off, thanks Pinoy, it solved that problem of opening the file.... however, I've got a new problem now. Erg....

Well... it worked, like I said. I opened the file and tested it and it started encoding and whatnot so it was all fine. So after that test, I redid the whole adding subtitle process to another file. And this time, when I frameserve and try to open the .vdr file in TMPGEnc, I get no error... but TMPGEnc freezes on me!!! I don't get it seeing as how it worked the first time. I tried restarting my computer and reinstalling TMPGEnc, nothing has worked so far and TMPGEnc keeps freezing now whenever I open the .vdr. So umm... do you know how to fix this new problem then?
I would also prefer to not use a different program. The fact that it worked the first time means that the TMPGEnc WILL work... but it's just currently freezing up. GRRRR...

  5. I know this sounds stupid and prolly is but try encoding another file, then go back and try the one you are having problems with again. I remember having a similar problem and tryed everything to fix it, finally I gave up. A day or two later I tryed that same file again since TMPG seemed to be working again and it worked! Not sure if that is what solved it though.

    Good luck!!
