I'm trying to remove GMC and QPixel from some avi's. I've used all the front-end GUI's for VDubMod I could find. It's worked for some, but many of them displayed this error when muxing:

"The function DeleteComments was called on a stream[?] that hasn't been previously initialized with SetSource."

What can I do to solve this problem? Since I'm a real noob, I'm stuck relying on GUI's to get my work done, but the problem probably stems from my VDub.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that part, but VirtualDub Mod itself is a 'GUI'. Which other ones are you using? And what format are you using? I'm guessing Divx.

I am also wondering what you are muxing? If you are working on the video, do you also have to convert the audio and mux it back in?

You might want to explain your process.

    And welcome to our forums.

I had no idea, since I used AVI Recomp, StaxRip, and AutoGK, they all install VDubMod in thier directories, I thought that was the encoder itself.

I'm not quite sure how these GUIs work, but they all seem to create a temp folder, demux the audio and video, create a log with very vague entries (they only tell which pass has been completed, time, and whether it's muxing or demuxing), then mux it all back together.

Anyways, this error always seems to occur during the final phase of muxing (about 93%).
