  1. I capture some TV prog using my ATI AIW through svideo from ouside computer or from TV part of the ATI. I like to capture in DVD Workshop 1-What is the best plugin for best quality picture. Ulead plugin doesn'tshow the picture just sound and media players plugin works but quality is bad like you can see interlace gaps. 2- My ATI capture program works well but there is no setting to break the capture into 1 gig files. I don't want to end up with 5 gig file if it freezes then I loose everything.

Do not capture in DVD Workshop.

There is no such limit on file size in ATI MMC unless you put one there. Under the capture settings, there is a setting near or at the very end where you specify the break, if any. Select "Windows Limit" to have no limit to use (assuming your hard drive is NTFS formatted, and not FAT32). See the guides at www.digitalFAQ.com for more.

    Hi,

You could give a try to Intervideo or NVidia mpeg codecs found in the package called:
"mpeg2_decoders.v2.02", I have seen very good quality with Intervideo using a Graph.

I don't know if DVD Workshop allows the use of graph files made with Graphedit. The NVidia codecs when used with ATI or GeForce video cards reduce the CPU workload.
