    i just downloaded some new fonts and copied
    them into the fonts folder in windows
    but none of the programs i want to use them in is able to see them
    i tried restarting my computer but no luck
    the fonts are true type fonts files
    am i missing something?
    can anyone help me with this

    Instead of copying them into the Fonts folder, I believe you have to install them. While in the Fonts folder, you will see Install New Font.... under File. Try that.

    Just to add....

    The instruction won't be visible in the 'File' menu unless you select the 'Fonts' folder.

    If you drag and drop into the fonts folder an install box should appear
