    I have this problem....

Everytime when I try to encode Avi files to Mpg (or Mpv or Mpa), MainConcept will says....

Error: BUFSTRM:Unable to open file for writing.

This happened to all of my avi file...I didn't have this problem when I authoring my 3 anime DVD in the first time. And I didn't touch any of the setting exept for bitrate and expect ratio..What is the problem here?

I try to use Tmpgenc..then it says............Unable to convert....bla..bla...(I dont remember)...The second time, I try to create MP2 file..It did work but no sound will come out from the Mp2 file...

I create Wav file using VirtualDubMod usiing the same AVI....It works but the WAV file is small...Just 23MB for 25 minutes....128kbs and 48000khz.....But the sound came out normal...I convert it to AC3 and the filesize is 70MB. The last time I creating Wav file using differrent AVI but same length, the file is 65MB...Convert it to AC3 and it shrinks to 24MB....Is this normal?? I dont think it is...Help please??

    Thanks..
Do you know why people mostly use Mac in their office?
Because a lot of stress can lead people to jump off the "Windows".

Try using virtualdub (regular) or virtualdub-mpeg2 for extracting to WAV - your 25 min WAV file should be around 280MB by my calculations.
    If in doubt, Google it.
