I'm trying to encode and burn multiple OGMs using AVI2DVD, and I'm having a problem with certain files. First of all, I tried to encode the first batch of them but I had a problem with the joined file (ie: it had a few messed up parts, the audio was wayyyy desynched and at one point the video seemed to melt).
I checked each file individually with VirtualDubMod and I noticed that a few of the files I tried to burn gave me the following error:
OGM: Some errors were found when parsing the stream.
When I go and check the report, I see this:
Some problems have been encountered while parsing the stream :
Page at byte 21413726 (00:02:56.927) exposed 0 Packets instead of 3 expected.
Page at byte 21471534 (00:02:56.927) exposed 2 Packets instead of 1 expected.
Seems like 2 Packets have been lost in action.
Information about Packet 0 in Page at byte 21471534 (00:02:56.927) has been corrected.
Now containing 3771 samples instead of 1.
Information about Packet 0 in Page at byte 51384630 (00:09:52.842) has been corrected.
Now containing 2 samples instead of 6234465.
(or something very like this, for each of the problem files).
Now, is this the right place to post this? (I looked for the VDM forums, but it seems they've not been around for quite awhile)
Secondly, does anyone know what this problem is, has encountered it before, or can help me fix it?
Thank you!

I don't work with OGM files much, but it sounds like missing/corrupted frames in the video. That can throw the sync off also. I'm assuming ogg audio and maybe Xvid video. If you used the 'Scan video stream for errors' function in VDM, you may be able to fix it there, then resave the video and audio in Direct stream copy.
Or if that fails, re-encode the video. And you could do the audio at the same time if needed, if you have the right codecs. I'm assuming you are converting the file to MPEG when you are done.
And this would be better in the Newbie Conversion forum. Moving you. -
Well, I did that but I got a result that there were no bad frames. So I'm not really sure where to go from here.
I'm very much new to this, so I would appreciated any assistance...
Thanks.
