I just got my first mac a few days ago, an Intel Macbook Pro. Im trying to play/convert some .rmvb's on ffmpegx. I got the newest version, w, and I did all the extra bits to enable .rm files, i used the stable build of reallibs if it helps. Here's what i get:

    1. If i use a .rm or .rmvb as the source, the program crashes.
    2. If i use a .rv or .ra as the source, it doesnt crash. Using the play feature, i only get audio on both formats. When I try to convert it to anything, the progress bar starts, then jumps to 'finished' in ~1 second. It doesnt create any output file.

Oh also, all files were .rmvb's to start, i renamed them to make them .rm's, etc.

Honestly, I'd be happy if i could just watch them in ffmpegx, i dont really need them converted if i can just have a way to see them.

    Thanks for your help!

By the way, everything else works great!

    Well, you could install RealPlayer...
    Latest version is Universal Binary.
