    Dear Friends,
    please Suggest me SOFTWARE Fplat form to Convert a simple VCD (.dat) file to SVCD and /OR DVD formats .I wish to burn the Converted SVCD// DVD format by usind Ulead DVD Movie Factory ((which Currently doesnt support my MPEG files ))

    any replies ARe most welcome,

    From memory just rename the file extension from .dat to .mpg.

    no, their is a slight conversion involved.

    Use VCDgear, avalible in the tools section.
