    Can ffmpegX convert .flv files?

I have tried to convert an .flv file to numerous other formats, only to come up blank--or worse with a "conversion" that goes on for hours...(for a 5 minute file)...

  2. I tried converting one .flv file to "ffmpeg DivX" and it worked fine.

Were you unable to translate it to other formats?

Interrestingly, after I posted the original question, I found that iSquint (which I believe uses ffmpeg) converts it automatically for me--however it does appear to make an intermediary or temporary file in the process of doing so.

    Which format do you need?

MPEG4 or MOV--I also use .h264 to keep size down.

  6. You may use "h264 x264" and disable "Decode with Quicktime".
