Hey all the good people who have been helping me with my earlier posts.
I just realised something when i played the vcds on my standalone vcd player. The audio is till bad, I've tried what you all suggested.
However, I noticed that the player reads a different time-code than on my computer (which is the correct one). A 55 min vcd plays at 63 min on the standalone player. Could this be a reason for the bad audio?
Thanks in advance

DarthZavk, did you try playing the .wav file extracted by dvd2avi? were there any problems with the original .wav file? if not, it could be that your cd-r is too crappy, or your vcd player has a hard time playing those type of cd-r. also, try slowing your burn speed to no higher than 4x...that might be the problem also..
