For the life of me I cannot get the DVD rip of Full Metal Jacket to synchronize the Audio properly with AutoGK. Since AutoGK is pretty limited in it's settings, I'm really out of luck with it.

Does anybody have any ideas? When you can't get AutoGK to cooperate with a movie, which program is your backup?

I use FairUse Wizard. I decrypt with DVD Fab Decrypter then direct FUW to that file. It may not have all the options of AutoGK, but it is easier to use, IMO. If the rip was OK, you really shouldn't be having audio problems, though.

Try ripping the movie with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode.

As for audio options I would keep the original AC-3 and try not to convert it to another format such as MP3.

If you feel you must convert the audio to MP3 then try CBR MP3 instead of VBR MP3.

Also if the DVD has DTS don't try to use that as your source audio.

What process did you use that gave you A/V sync issues? Did you use the original AC-3 or did you try to convert to MP3 etc.

Also was it out-of-sync on the computer or on a stand alone DivX/XviD capable DVD player?
