    I captured a few of my VCR's in MPEG2 format and burned DVD's without creating VOB's. (MPEG2 files on DVD). My stand alone DVD player plays about 41 minutes of these DVD's then it stops. I tried all these DVD's with the same result. In my PC all of these DVD's play perfectly. Anybody would know what the problem is?

    how big is the mpeg2 file? over 2gb? mpeg2 file playback is not any standard so it depends on what dvd player you are using.

    why not author to vob files?
