    Heya all...how do I do that? The append option is greyed out?? I want to combine 2 mpg files together...

    If I am not wrong, Virtualdub does not output MPEG format. You need to frameserve to a MPEG encoder. You can use MPEG VCR to join MPEG files. It does streaming so the quality is same as original.

    You're not wrong - VirtualDub doesn't support any MPEGs in any way. However...

    Before you try frameserving, try appending in either of Virtualdub-MPEG2 or VirtualDubMod.

    Failing that, download TMPGEnc (the free / trial version) and use the File -> MPEG Tools... -> Simple Multiplex utility.

    Hmm...I have TMPGenc...but what does the simple multiplex utility do? And actually, what am i using it for? Merging the two files?

    It has MPEG Tool where you can merge MPEG files.

    Thanks. It worked. Btw, TMPGenc cannot edit .rm That's a pity... no audio comes out.
