i recently ripped a movie using dvdshrink it plays on my computer and my standalone but will not play in other standalones i have tried it in 3 others all new machines, my standalone is also a burner (liteon) the other 3 have been panasonic, sylivania and a cheap 30dollar one.

did you burn with dvdshrink(nero)?
it could be crappy dvd media, see www.nomorecoasters.com and www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia
