  1. Hi,

I've had to re-install WinXP and now cannot find DVSoft codec in the list of available codecs when opening VD. I know its on the system somewhere - I have AP 6.5 installed.

Any ideas as to how to get VD to recognise the codec?

    Hi LabanB,

It looks like you have to re-install the DVSoft codec again.
I used to have this codec, but I seem to have lost it some time ago.

But, whenever you given editor can't make out a source-file's codec origin,
its on account of the codec being uninstalled, and a simple re-install is
all it *should* take to get back in business
