  1. I had some free time today so I brought in some CDs to transfer to Hard drive ultimate burn to DVD.


    So far no problems copying... Phew

    However I'm thinking that the Imations are going bad as they are taking lots longer to copy and reporting wildly fluctuating times. The Phillips and Memorex so far have all copied at what i regard as a decent speed . Only the all of the Imations are slow.

    All VCDs that I created before I got the Sony DRU500a DVD burner. Captures of this and that and putting them on DVD at 352 by 240 will work for me. Some old TV shows that aren't on available on DVD for example if anybody is curious why I'm going to the trouble.

  2. Some older Imation CD-R's that I have are failing after a few years. And if you put paper labels on them which I use to do back around 2000 are failing on everything but quality blanks like TDK.
