Anybody know how to convert .dyc files from the CDC32 (webchat) program ???

Of course you could always ask them if they know a way to do it

or, if worse come to worse, you could play it out to an audio recording device or another computer and recapture it.

The people behind CDC32 is no help, they tell me to just use their software and they don't support anything else
I tried plying thru CDC32 and then use use Windows Media Encoder the Screen Capture recording from that window, but it was all black. Guess that is because of the overlay ?!?

Hmmmmm,....
Well, dealing with unique formats such as "*.dyc" poses a bit of a problem. If they can't provide a converter of any sort that can help you then you have to find another way to get the video. I've had trouble capturing video from the Media Player as well and in those cases I've had to play the video out to a VCR then re-capture it back onto my computer.
If your system doesn't have a TV-out then you may have to borrow a friend/family member's computer that does.
If you have some cash to spare, TV-out cards are becoming less and less expensive.
