    Would you:

    A) Buy dvds in shrinkwrap to save a few bucks

    or

    B) Spend few extra bucks and buy dvds in a cake box?
When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!!

Depends on the brand. Most I have buying lately (TY and Prodisc) come in cake boxes. The shrink wrapped worked fine when I used them, as long as I put them on a spindle before unwrapping. (If you have ever unwrapped without using the spindle, you know what I mean. )

I have found in most cases (no pun intended) it's cheaper to buy discs on a spindle than it is to buy them shrink wrapped. Price isn't my objective when making a media purchase though.

  5. I also buy them in a spindle, becuase I use the spindle boxes as disc storage.

Does anyone know where can I buy empty spindle boxes ?

I am transfering VHS to DVD to save storage space. I am also throw out CD cases and put disc in a spindle box too.
