My wife took video of her sister's baby shower using a generic mini dvd-r. There was no label so she was confused on which side was the data side. She eventually figured it out but had already labeled the disc using a fine permanent marker......on the data side, and then videoed the shower. I wiped the marker off the disc with an alcohol pad but noticed that the disc burned a "shadow" of the letters into the tracks. It recorded about half the disc before it started to error but now I cannot access the disc to finalize it or copy it or anything. Please, does anyone know of any way to recover any of this footage?

You can try IsoBuster to see if it can recover the data...
