Ok, I have some odd behavior, which will take a bit to explain.
I have a DMR-E60, which a brought and used in Australia for a year or so. Now i have moved to Ireland, brought it across, and am trying to get it to work again. I am connecting to the TV through an SCART (EURO-AV) plug, with an adapter taking the output of the audio/video sockets.
At this point I can:
Play a DVD, and everything works fine.
Watch TV directly, using the RF output which is passed through.
Tune in the channels to see them (the reception is bad) but I cant hear them.
I can record from the RF channels, but the recordings have no sound.
So as far as I can tell, the RF connections are all right, because I can tune into the channels, and because the TV can play the RF sound. The DVD Recorder can send sound to the TV (the DVD's work) But something is set up wrong to decode the sound from the RF in the DVD recorder.
Of course I could be wrong about something.
Anyone got any ideas?
