  1. ok I have a file that I created from a DV camera on my computer and I have run it through TMPGE to get it to it's elementary streams.

I've run the thing through both DVDAuthorGUI and TMPGE DVD and I keep getting the same result.

The DVD starts off really slowly (The voices and footage are in slow motion, that really deep sound when you play a 78 at 33 1/3 [btw if you know what I'm talking about here you get a cookie]) then goes to normal, then back down to slow motion.

I've checked everything up to the authoring and everything plays perfectly, it's only after I take it through either authoring program that the slow motion thing occurs.

I've tested the ISO files by using VLC and an Image Drive as well to make sure that it's not my DVD burner or DVD players and I keep getting the same slow down and speed up.

    What the heck is wrong?!

Yes the mp2 and m2v files played perfectly.

Once they were converted to the vob files by DVDAuthorGUI and TMPGEnc DVD Author there was a problem with teh video slowing down and speeding back up to normal every few moments.
