What MacX tool to use to convert RMVB. file to AVI, or pretty much anything

What Mac X (G5) tool to I use? I want to convert a RMVB file to a AVI file. I would be pretty much happy converting RMVB file to pretty much ANYTHING else other than RMVB.

This is for MacX, Not windows. There is lots for windows but I see nothing for mac.

I did look into the optional install reallibs package with ffmpegx. I have fooled around with it but with no success. There has to be something easier


I have searched through the macX tool section but found nothing so if I missed it my bad.

You might have a better chance of someone replying if this was in the Mac forum. ^_^ Also, there's a dedicated ffmpegx forum here, as well, so if you're willing to work with ffmpegx a little more to try to get the RMVBs converted, major (ffmpegx's author) might be able to help.

That said, I don't think I've really seen much else to convert RealMedia files on a Mac, other than mencoder (which ffmpegx uses).

Thanks for the help. I stick to the mac section on the forum. Looks like I am going to have to mess around with ffmpegx a little more on my own before I request for help.
