Can someone tell me where I can find out if my camcorder will accept a particular type of 8cm DVD?
(When I say type... I mean brand name.)
Thanks.

8 cm DVDR follow the same specification as standard DVDR. Use the any +R/W, if you want to re-use the disc, else stay with what the manual say. They are all costly enough, the user only buy them at most as a 5 pack, mostly single. Basically, if the DVDcamcorder is good, it should able to take any brand.

OM2, you should know that the brand name does not always indicate the manufacturer. The media code determines who really made the disc. Look to the left for 'DVD Media' and it lists the real manufacturer for the different media codes and brands.
