Not the system in my profile.
My Win2K system will not boot.
It was working great before I left for work this morning. I clicked "Start" > "Shutdown" and it did just that.
Now I get home from work and it goes to a black screen with white font that says "NTLDR Missing. Press any key to restart."
But it just keeps going in a cycle when I kit a key -- it goes back to that exact same message.
What the hell is NTLDR? and how do I get it back?

    TIA!!!

    DAMN IT!!!!!
    I swear that I'm a ******* retard.......
I left a blank floppy in the drive
    D'OH!!
Good thing I spent over half an hour trying to get to safe mode and screwing with the BIOS. I'm glad I didn't boot from the install disc (which I was getting ready to do when I remembered the floppy!).

    Remember
"non-System disk or disk error replace the disk and press any key"

What happened to DOS that Win XP and Win 2000 sometimes return yer error instead of the typical understandable message I've recalled above

  5. You will get the same error message if your C drive failed, and your D drive did not have XP and Win2K. NTLDR means NT Loader.
