If this is the wrong forum I apologize..I have a new JVC DR-M10s stand alone recorder..wonder what sometthing like this would be worth?..maybe someone here might give me a ballpark figure on it..I bought it then soon after I found a good deal on a unit that had the hard drive built in...so I never even used it..thank you..

Fry's sells refurbished units for $69. I paid $240 for a new one about a year ago. Had the loading problem. JVC fixed it under warranty.

Fry's had the DR-M10S at $67 a couple of months ago. As you know the M10S was discontinued in late 2004 as JVC introduced the DR-M100s in January 2005 as its replacement.

This was on eBay recently. I think all brands are headed the same direction.
Samijubal reported regarding Toshiba DR4's.
"I've seen them go for as little as $35 before shipping, which was only $10."
