Sorry if this is a stupid question I am new to all this and can find anything on it or not using the right search words.
My question is can I use a hdmi to usb cable to connect my hd-dvr to computer then capture the video in realtime on computer with some sort of software. or should i just buy some sort of caputer box that is HD that captures from my digital cable or OTA, not sure what is easier or better I have never really done any of this for HD. I used to do it a while ago with my basic cable. What would be best, cost, quality, and ease of use. Thanks for all your help.
