Hy everybody,
I've recorded some DVD-R (Sony 1.4 GB) with a DVD Camcorder (Hitachi DZ-MV 580).
The discs are finalized.
When I play them in a DVD player they work fine.
I've bought two DVD burners (Sony DRU-810 and an LG GSA 4167B) in order to make copies of the original DVDs). I use Nero Express 6. When I choose the option Copy DVD to copy 1 small DVD 1.4GB on 1 normal DVD (4.7 GB) the copy is the same as the original.
Here comes the problem: Normally I want to put 3 small DVDs (3 x 1.4 GB = 4.2 GB < 4.7 GB), and I choose the option "Make your own DVD-Video". The DVDs resulting from this copying process ( all of them- I watched them carefully) have a freeze in image for a second or less every maybe 1 minute or every few minutes.
Firstly, I changed the DVD burner but the problem is the same with both of them. Then I suspect the Nero software.
All I want is to make copies of my small original DVDs recorded by the camcorder and to put 3 of them on a normal DVD as the space allows it. What should I do. I still have the possibility to return the LG DVD burner in two days.
Thank you for your precious advice.

Rip the discs to your hard drive.
Import into TDA on a single track.
Trim each video if necesary (TDA is very good at this).
process and burn. -
Since you already have Nero, try the project with Nerovision 3 (if it isn't in your package, you can download it from Nero).
Start Nerovision (if you can get the new one version 4 with Nero 7 ultra), then choose import a disc from the menu on the left, import each of your discs. They'll show up as individual titles in the window. You can then edit them (trim the ends, remove pieces, add transitiional effects like wipes, fade, insert titles, etc).
Then you create the menu (choose "next" at the bottom), after that you can play your project, then you can burn your project to a disc.
One suggestion, I always burn first to the hard drive as a disc, I can then play the disc from the HD and I don't waste time or money with coasters that way. After you burn to the HD you can then choose burn again and make a disc.
Play your burned disc in a set top device.
It sounds like your computer might (just might) need more memory.
I've had excellent results with Nerovision 3 and 4 for hundreds (maybe even a thousand at this point) projects. My projects start with dvds recorded on set-top recorders like the Liteon 5045, 5005 and Sony RDR-HX715.

I had this happen to me when I burned straight from folders rather than an ISO for my projects made with TDA . Made a DVD with other software and burning from folders didnt give me the problem , also tried since and it doesnt do it anymore (with TDA - I did update though) .
