DVD Workshop 2 Error:800413a8

Every time I try to burn a particular project in DVD Workshop 2, I cannot complete the burn.
I always receive a message that reads "unspecified error; error code 800413a8."

Any suggestions as to what I should do to resolve this issue?

I had the same problem when working on a PAL-->NTSC project a few weeks ago...and could not find a fix, unfortunately. I had to use a different authoring program. From my research, it appears DVDWS2 has issues reading converted framerates.......... ??? Are you by chance trying to author converted PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL?

If you're importing already muxed video/audio, try demuxing in a different program (i.e., TMPGEnc) and import elementary streams into WS2.. or conversely, if you already have demuxed streams, try muxing in another program, then importing remuxed stream into WS2. I gave up and used another authoring app.

Why not ask Ulead customer support?

OEM version.. no support. But there have been reported inquiries to Ulead without response (or atleast a public/reported one).

I am using the NTSC format.

I tried to contact Ulead customer support about 2 days ago and they have not contacted me yet.

Ok, Ulead finally contacted me and this is their exact e-mail:

Kindly try the following to refresh and update the program files.

1) Uninstall Ulead DVD Workshop 2 from control panel Add/Remove programs.

2) Delete this folder "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop\2.0" (Please set "Show hidden files and folders" in folder option in Control Panel)

3) Delete this folder "C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop\2.0"


4) Delete this folder "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop 2"


5) Reinstall the program again.

Thank you much, Jesse217--much appreciated. This problem only occurs on my PAL<-->NTSC conversions. Will give it a try.
