Is there a certain type of software to read .map files? I've downloaded mapping files to re-map a Power commander IIIr device for my motorcycle.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

They would likely be a proprietary format and you would have to open them with the program or device that created them. If you were able to open them as a text file, it would likely be in binary or hex coding and difficult to read. Have you Googled for 'power commander III'? Or have you been to this site and looked for software?
