When I back a vcd the copy completes burn ok and gives me a tick (EZCD). However on playback pixels can be seen on screen.
Is this a hard drive bad sector problem or writer/reader problem?
Any help please.

Possible cause:
1) the source video is poor quality to start with. Try to cop the .DAT file to your hard disk then play it with WMP to check for quality.
2) CD-R media cannot be read well by the CD drive
