Apols if this is in the wrong place, couldn't see anywhere obvious for it (it's not really a DVD recorder specific question).

My TV has only one RGB scart socket (the other is composite - Matsui 32WN20).
Therefore I have Sky+ into Philips DVDR3365 into Ext1 on TV.

The picture from the DVDR in DVD mode is crystal clear, but Sky+ in passthrough is coming through slightly out.

On the planner screen, where there is a yellow block, just to the right side is green, almost as if there is yellow+blue there? Not so niticeable on other colours, or when watching programs, but definately there.

If I plug Sky+ direct into Ext1 on TV, then this isn't there and it's pretty much perfect.

My scart leads are not vastly expensive, gold plated and that's about all (plastic bodies, not sure about shielding).

My question is: Is this likely to be down to interference on the scart lead OR due to poor performance of the passthrough on the Philips DVDr3365?

Having only one RGB scart socket, I'd like to use the passthrough so that both Sky+ and DVD's are RGB. If it's scart leads then I can buy new ones, but not if that's going to be a waste of time [and money! lol]

Thanks for any assistance sorting this out...the screen cap isn't the greatest - in fact, I suspect that the recording on DVD doesn't quite show the problem, will try to take a photo too.

(Can't seem to get this upload to work? Any ideas on that too! I've followed the guide)
