  1. Hi..

I have made many DVDs with DVDlab Pro. always I got same errors. first of all I backup via DVD shrink, then put on DVDlab, it always join VOB sets. I also tried on Video Redo Plus. But when I am done writing DVD it always stuck fot 1/2 seconds after few minuts.

When video is playing it gets stcuk for 1/2 seconds in many times, sometimes it repeats regularly. what is the problem or I am doing something wrong?

Does it do this when you play back the finished DVD form the HDD, or only from the burned DVD ?

    Try different blank dvd brands.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  6. One more thing. DVDlab always gives open GOPs error. I dont know about these things. may be open Gops are the reason. so how to ride it?

Whether or not you have open GOPs is a function of your encoder. You can choose to have them closed or left open when you encode. How you do this depends on your encoder, but it is most likely a check box somewhere. Many people prefer open GOPs as it helps with compression, and most encoders seem to leave them open by default. The warning you get from DLP (and it is only a warning, not an error) is telling you this may reduce the accuracy of the chapter stops. This may or may not be an issue to you.

No one is suggesting you stop using DVD Lab Pro to author your DVDs. What we are suggesting is that your problem is with the discs you are burning to. Generally, if the dvd plays fine from your HDD and doesn't play well from the DVD, then the problem is with either the way you burn, or what you burn to.

Also, I would never burn with DVD Lab Pro's burning engine. If you have burned with Nero before and the discs have worked, try using Nero just to burn what you author with DLP.

Otherwise, try using imgtools classic to convert your DLP output into an ISO, then burn with imgburn.

  8. Thanks alot guns1inger.. I was also thinking about burning engine because the discs are 100% ok when I burn with nero but Nero is limited software for DVD. No I'll give it a try thanks.
