After costly repair work on this camcorder during last summer holidays (change of the on/off button at the back side of the camera in an authorised Panasonic repairshop), it appeared that the time/day display was definitely out. After repeated loads of several hours, situation was unchanged. This was confirming that the built-in battery was out of order, which is quite normal after 5 years operation. Each time I switch-on the camcorder, I have to re-set the time/day display!
Unfortunately the authorised repairshop was very poor in responsewhen I tried to ask them how to get and replace by myself the built-in battery.
This is the reason of my question: Is anybodyable to inform me:
- Either where to find the information
- Or describe which part of the camcorder to open such that I can get access to and buy such battery
- Or give me extract of the Manufacturer's technical manual giving such info. the owner's manual doest not help in this matter![]()
