  1. Hello

I want to convert an old vhs tape to dvd, it has some noise/fuzzyness, which is the best program to use for converting it and clearing it up?

    Thanks

What hardware are you using to capture it to your PC? AVI in some format may be best if you need to apply some noise filters. HuffyUV, PICVideo MJPEG are two popular choices. Then you can drop it into some version of VirtualDub and use some of the filters available with it. If you plan to put it on DVD afterwards, frameserve the filtered/edited version to a encoder like TMPGEnc. This is just one way, there are many others.

You must set the correct colourspace of your card. Check YUV2, it works with most cards
