    I just upgraded to 2.1.2284.

Now, when I try to go to the settings menu item to change back and forth between 1-pass and 2-pass, this upgraded version gets a message-box saying:

"SVCD2DVD 2.1 An unhandled exceoption has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will be shut down immediately. QueryInterface for interface NEROLib.INero5 failed."

Continuing does not bring up the settings menu.

My selected burner is CopyToDVD, and I don't have a current version of Nero installed.

Is there something quick-and-dirty I can do about this?

On another subject, I often create DVD's with many titles, and sometimes, even with 2-pass encoding, using Auto-Fit, the resulting DVD image is too big to fit on the media. It would be nice to have an enterable target percentage that sets the goal DVD-size to a few percent smaller, to allow for the mismatch between the intended encoded-size and the actual that happens with the encoding process.

Can you do a search for nerocom.dll on your PC and tell me if you have it (don't delete it).

Yes. I have an old version of Nero 6 Ultra, where the nerocom.dll is version
1.2.0.1 from 12/16/03. I can probably uninstall this Nero (or at least hide it).
It's only around in case of some emergency where I need to do something
from past config files with it.

Well the software detects that Nero is installed but the version of Nero you have is not recent enough to "list your DVD drives" via that dll.

Well you could uninstall it. Unregister that single dll or upgrade Nero 6 to the latest or email me & I will send you a later version of the single dll
