i convert everything with winavi. its easy and its to the point - convert & burn.
my question is whether it's possible to make some type of menu in conjunction with winavi. obviously winavi does not offer this option yet (cmon, pick up the pace), but is there a way to convert multiple files at the same time and then create a menu?
any feedback would be great! thanks!

Good luck! WinAVI has a bad rep around VideoHelp - both for the quality of the product, and for their continous spamming (unsolicited advertizing) of this site.
As WinAVI is a commercial product, your first stop should be their support.

you can open the DVD files with TMPGEnc DVD Author, and create a menu with that. sometimes TMPGEnc DVD Author wont read WinAVI's output files. if this happens, then you can use dvdremake pro and just import/export and it will open the new files. or you get Ifoedit and create new ifo/bups for each VTS title (this is a little more complicated).
