There's no reason to jump down someone's throat because they wanted to know if a site was down. It's fair question. Sometimes people are trying to troubleshoot. It happens.
What gets me is the people complaining about the post.
YOU DID NOT HAVE TO READ THE POST!
That's right, you had to click the link and read the post. If you thought the post was going to be a complete waste of time, why did you bother to click on it in the first place?? The title was very upfront about what the question was about:
"Is anybody able to get to www.cdfreaks.com?"
But no, you clicked on the link and then slammed the guy for his post.
Who is the bigger fool, the fool or the one who follows the fool?
Good night and good luck

When a website appears to be down you can go through
the "backdoor" sometimes. Just go to Google and type in
the name of the site. Then click the site in the list.
If that doesn't work click Google's cache of the site. That
should get you to a page on the site, and then to the home page.
I've done that a lot and it works most of the time. -

I tried the other day and had a 5-10 sec wait then it loaded up. I just wanted to see what all of this crap was all about. No need to get mad over a web site.
