Virtual Dub Audio Encding Problem

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Im using vdub to cut a scene from a video and for the audio section, i chose full processing. then i went to configure the audio compression for MPEG Layer 3. I checked the "Show all formats" but nothing was there. I downloaded the Fraunhofer MPEG Layer-3 Audio Decoder
from free-codecs.com but i still have the problem...can anyone please helpe me? thanks alot

You don't need to use Full Processing if you're just cutting a scene. Use Direct Stream Copy.

You need an ENcoder not a DEcoder. Download and install the Lame ACM codec.
