    Is there such a thing?anyway to get a digital signal outta this format w/o the analogue downconversion?

    Depends on the model DVR you have. If you mean a non-HD model then I've never heard of a way.

    Oh and there is no analog downconversion.

    The data coming in from the sat is already mpeg 2 544 by 480 or 640 by 480 and I've never seen it but others say also 480 by 480.
