    i used TMPGEnc and it doubled the size of my file. Now Nero says its to big to fit on a disk. As an AVI it fits. Help! is there a way around the file doubling?

    That's normal. You will need to split the mpeg file. TMPGEnc can split the file for you. Click on File->MPEG Tools and select the Merge & Cut tab.
