DVD: Half DVD resolution ==> subtitles are bad

Normally I encode to full DVD resolution with tmpgenc. I use DVDlab to make the DVD including subtitles. Image quality is good and the subs are good.

Now I encoded some TV-episodes with Tmpgenc to DVD- low resolutiuon (half DVD). I did the same like i used to in DVDlab: adding menu, subs,... Image quality of the episodes is still acceptable but the subs are very bad. The characters aren't nice any more.

Is this because I'm using half dvd resolution? And can something be done abaut this?

Post a snapshot , then we'll see what is happening and beable to help

Just remember , snapshot need's to be under 300kb .

Just a snapshot surrounding the problem area should be fine .
