You could use DVD Decrypter and set file splitting to 'None' in file mode and you would end up with one big VOB file of all the selected VOBs combined. Drop that into VirtualDub Mod and convert to Xvid. Add the AC3 ACM Decompressor to read AC3 audio and convert that to MP3.

If you already have the vobs on your HDD, use VOB2MPG to create one big one and work from there.

Use DGIndex. Load all the VOB's, create a single D2V and have it demux the auido to a single file.

  5. Yep, you might as well learn to do it right. DGIndex, the DGDecode.dll, and AviSynth. Get the DGMPGDec package (containing DGIndex and DGDecode.dll), and then read the QuickStart.html which will tell you what you need to know to get started.
